Our History
Our father, Joseph Testa, came from Italy, where he worked for Fiat and
Ferrari hand crafting body parts for those legendary companies. In 1951,
he moved to New York with a dream to open his own auto body repair
shop. In 1966, his dream was realized in San Jose, California where he
opened Testa's Auto Body Shop on Almaden Road. Testa's became a
well known and respected business within the community for over 30
years.
In 1992, Peter and John Testa, Joseph's son's, relocated expanded and
modernized the business to 419 Orto Street. Both son's were trained in
the art of auto body repair and restoration by their father Joseph Testa.
They are also PPG and ICAR certified for expert paint and repair. For
over 14 years Testa's Auto Body has been a recognized direct repair
facility for AAA Insurance Company.
